Terms of Service

By placing an order or paying Corvex Studios ("we", "us"), you agree to these terms. They're written in plain English so you know exactly what to expect.

1. Orders and quotes

• Orders are placed through the order panel or a ticket in our Discord server.
• We'll send you a quote with the price and what's included. Prices on our website are starting prices; your quote is the final price.
• Work only starts once you accept the quote and pay.
• We can turn down any order, for example if it breaks Discord's or Mojang's rules, or if it's something we can't do well.

2. Payment

• Payment takes place inside your ticket or order channel, where only you and our staff can see it. Every payment is logged.
• We will never ask you to pay in DMs. If someone does, it isn't us. Report it in a ticket.
• Larger orders may be split into an upfront payment and a final payment on delivery. This will be in your quote.

3. Changes during an order

Small tweaks while we're working are included. Bigger changes or new features that weren't in the quote may need a new quote, and we'll always ask before charging more.

4. Delivery

We'll give you an estimated delivery time with your quote. Estimates can change if the project changes or we're waiting on you for information, and we'll keep you updated in your order channel.

5. Lifetime warranty

Everything we build comes with a lifetime warranty. If something stops working because of a bug in our code, we'll fix it for free, for as long as we're operating.

The warranty doesn't cover:

• Changes you or anyone else made to the code or config after delivery
• New features or changes to how something works
• Problems caused by your host, other plugins or bots, or third-party services
• Updating to new Minecraft or Discord versions that change how things work (we'll offer this at a fair price)

To use the warranty, open a support ticket and tell us what's wrong.

6. Refunds

• Before work starts: full refund.
• After work starts: no refunds, because our time has been spent. If we can't deliver what was agreed in your quote, we'll refund you.
• After delivery: no refunds. If something doesn't work, the lifetime warranty covers it.
• Chargebacks or payment disputes without contacting us first may get you banned from our services.

7. Ownership

Once you've paid in full, you own what we made for you and get the source code for custom work. We may reuse general code and techniques in other projects, and we may show your project in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.

You may not resell or share work we made for you as your own product unless we agree to it in writing.

8. Premade products

Premade plugins or bots are licensed for use on your own servers only. You can't resell, share or leak them.

9. Behaviour

Treat our staff with respect. We may cancel orders or stop working with anyone who is abusive, tries to scam us, or breaks our server rules.

10. Liability

We build everything carefully, but we aren't responsible for indirect losses, such as lost players, income or data, caused by how our work is used. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the order.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version on this page when you place an order is the one that applies to it.
